Multiplus-II 48V 3 - 5kVA 230V & Pylontech ESS bundles

This DIY ESS bundle consists of your choice of Multiplus II inverter/charger, storage and a GX device. Some items are required as part of the bundle, with options to include e.g. the MK3 dongle, busbars or Lynx distributor, choose between an ET112 or current transformer or add a GX Touch screen. You can also opt for a Multiplus-II GX with an integrated GX device. If you cannot find what you need, please contact us for a custom solution.

So you have done your design, prepared a bill of materials and know what you want? Here you can build your own bundle, but firstly there are a number of important things worth mentioning before you proceed. Please don't hestitate to ask, as we are always only happy to help.

• Before ordering any system, always ensure the power generating equipment complies with the latest relevant EREC standards. Your DNO, the ENA register, manufacturer or installer are all sources that can be consulted on this. Ultimately the owner is responsible to ensure the equipment they install are compliant.
• Our bundles for use in domestic installations consist of only fully type tested inverters to G99 standards.
• If you plan a system larger than 3.68kW per phase, you will first have to submit a G99 application to your DNO and obtain approval prior to ordering!
• For a system of less than 3.68kW complying with G98, a notification to the DNO within 30 days after the installation. 
• When choosing a storage system (batteries), you typically want to ensure the total usable battery capacity is at least a minimum of 2 x the inverter's continuous discharge rating. As example, if you have a 3 kVA (2400W) Multiplus-II we'd recommend either 2 x US2000C or 1 x US3000C batteries, which is reflected in your choices.
• Sizing your inverter correctly will depend on having a clear view on your nominal and peak loads. For a grid tied ESS system, you may even consider a smaller inverter if you only very occasionally have high peak loads as the system will automatically use the max power the inverter can supply and then top up the shortfall from the grid.
• For this ESS bundle, the GX Touch and DC busbars are optional components. The bundles are designed to ensure you have everything you need to be up an running in no time. Please see our ESS system basics guide for the components required and their functions.

These bundles include everything listed below, which you will need for your ESS, however if you require further customisation or want to add solar, please discuss your requirement with us before ordering.

The Victron systems are incredibly flexible given the use of highly efficient DC coupled MPPT solar charge controllers that offer many system design and efficiency advantages over conventional grid tied AC coupled PV and storage systems.

• 1 x ET112 Energy meter OR Current Transformer 100A:50mA for MultiPlus-II (1, 5 or 20m options)
• 1 x 1.8m RS485 to USB for use wiith ET112 (not included when current transformer is selected)
• 1 x 1m battery cable pair with one side M8 crimped OR Pylontech cablepack
• 1 x AC isolator
• 1 x DC battery switch
• 1 x MEGA fuse (rating determined by the batteries chosen to protect the battery cable)
• 1 x MEGA fuse holder
• 1 x MK3 dongle for system configuration OR excluded when VE.RemoteConfig is used via VRM will be used
• 2 x 0.9m RJ45 UTP cables for use with MK3 dongle and GX connection to Multiplus-II ( Only 1 provided when MK3 is not required)
• 1 x canbus type A cable for use with Pylontech C-series batteries
• 1 x set of safety labels
