Easysolar-II GX 48V 3 - 5kVA 230V & Pylontech ESS bundle

Easysolar-II devices are now G98/G99 compliant. 

This DIY bundle consists of your choice of new generation EasySolar-II GX inverter/charger all-in-one with it's integrated GX device and a 250/70 or 250/100 Smartsolar MPPT charge controller depending on the model. This reduces cabling and space requirements for those with limited space or maybe won't have future upgrade needs. There are other bundles to choose from. e.g. you may opt for a Multiplus-II system or Multiplus-II GX system etc. If you cannot find what you need, please contact us for a custom solution.

So you have done your design, prepared a bill of materials and know what you want? Here you can build your own bundle, but firstly there are a number of important things worth mentioning before you proceed. Please don't hestitate to ask, as we are always only happy to help.

• If you plan a system larger than 3.68kW per phase, you will first have to submit aG99 application to your DNO and obtain approval as opposed to G98 which only requires a notification to the DNO within 30 days after the installation.
• When choosing a storage system (batteries), you typically want to ensure the total usable battery capacity is at least a minimum of 2 x the inverter's maximum continuous discharge rating. As example, if you have a 3 kVA (2400W) Multiplus-II we recommend either 2 x US2000C or 1 x US3000C batteries, which is reflected in your choices.
• Sizing your inverter correctly will depend on having a clear view on your baseline and peak loads. For a grid tied ESS system, you may even consider a smaller inverter if you only very occasionally have high peak loads as the system will automatically use the max power the inverter can supply and then top up the shortfall from the grid.

Our bundles include everything listed below, which you will need for your ESS, however if you require further customisation or advice or add solar, please discuss your requirement with us before ordering.

  • 1 x 0.9m RJ45 UTP cable for use with the MK3 dongle (optional)
  • 1 x canbus type A cable for use with the US3000C/US5000 batteries
